Montgomery Scrap Corporation first opened for business in 1949 at a location in downtown Rockville, near where the Rockville Metro station now exists. From the beginning, Montgomery Scrap provided the local community with a responsible, fair, and quality-focused scrap metal recycler. We solve scrap metal removal problems for our customers and efficiently and safely return the metals to the manufacturing industry for re-use in new products.

Over the years, our customer base has grown beyond Montgomery County, Maryland to include the entire Mid-Atlantic region. We purchase scrap metal material from customers across seven states and sell our product to consumers throughout the entire country and the world. We do this by providing superior service to our customers who provide us with scrap metal and by making a high-quality product for our consumers.

Metal recycling reduces loss of manufacturing by-product and keeps obsolete scrap out of our neighborhoods, roadways and landfills. We support the recycling efforts of all levels of industry and business including Federal, state and local government agencies.
